World population = 6.8 billion, muslims 1.57 billion (Sunnis = (87-90%) one billion thirty-six crores and fifty-nine lakhs and Shias - (10-13%) 20 crores and forty-one lakhs). Thanks for the detail population information of different sects of Islam, but the population figure of Ismailis are questionable.
