Can any one explain the following verse of Ginan Allah ek khassam sabuka
ejee sag poshakee meesak banaai
us maa(n)he bhareeye zamzam kuvekaa paanee
kutaa kabahee paak na hove
jo dhove so paanee.......................illaahee...........10
He made a water bag from the skin of a dog and filled it with water from the well of zamzam.
Dogs will never be pure even if they wash themselves with the water(of zamzam).
Dogs
My sense of it is that it is connected to the following verse, i.e. verse 11.
ejee paak paanee farmaane huvaa, sarovar nadeeyaa jaannee befarmaanee paak na hove,
jo dhove so paanee..illaahee......11
The water(soul) is purified by obedience to the commands(Farmaans). In this way the ocean (Imaam) knew(came into contact with) the rivers(mureeds). The ones who disobey the Farmaans will not be purified even if they wash themselves in water.
In my opinion, dogs have been used as a metaphor for evil persons. Verse 10 states that evil persons will never become pure even though they may have access to the water of Zamzam and wash themselves with it. Verse 11 on the other hand, states that only Farmanbardari connects a soul to the real water (ameeras - water of life) and purifies it.
