Fighting with the evil people.

Post by st0necol »

Ok...I've started to belief that all are created by one GOD so we should not hurt anybody. Always be calm with them & never hurt them physically.

What if we walking on roads with our family members..or friends n some eveteasers start teasing them...At first, I'll ignore but if they go physically...Is it ok for me to give them a tight punch? I mean GOD says na never kill/beat humans because they're from the noor. They carry a single drop of noor of GOD.

I know there's no big weapon than patience but when the water level goes up...What should we do?

I think we must defend our dignity...!

It also depends upon one's capacity to endure physical harm for the sake of faith. Jesus, Mansur and many of our Imams in the past have endured most violent and brutal circumstances for the sake of the values and principles of faith. These are the ones we believe can turn the worlds upside down in a moment, yet they suffered for the faith.

Ok so as long as he's troubling us...we should stay patient? & when it comes to the bad-doing with any girl...we should defend girls?

Even if it means a physical fight?

I mean even if a person has got evilish but still he's from the same soul as you posted in the last topic. So we should not harm him or what? What if he gets out of control & tries to harm any girl? What should we do at that time? Shall we first warn them ? & then start punching on nose :p

As long as you are defending your faith and honour fighting is justified. Consider the situation of Imam Husein in Karbala.

Click on the 'Ismaili History' link on the left of this window and select Imam Husein.

karim, here its not the case of faith... if one can physical defend then they should but it better to avoid such situation from coming... I mean to say its better to stay away from such places where they r chances of getting abused... I think one must deal intelligently in such circumstances!

Zubair_mehmood.

I live in Pakistan & here the environment is pathetic. You know even rickshaw drivers evetease maids who come to do work. Recently I saw a scooty-driver was eveteasing and following the maid. she was helplessly running quickly & staying away...eventually one uncle saw & he said something in loud voice...so in the fear...he turned his back.

Here, the environment is such for girls that we have to accompany them everytime. Our sisters, mothers & friends cannot be left alone on their own to go somewhere like markets or late at night.

Its not that you live in Pakistan I have also see these things in Paris and Gulf countries… I said we must be intelligent in dealing with these type of matters! I was bought up in Hyderabad (India) this issue was common 15 years back but today women work during night, these problems still exists but not as it were before… Just to tell u more may be 100 years back this problem was common in France but today women have different status in society…. if girls in Pakistan stop feeling inferior and take up jobs in every fields then men will automatically start respecting them like in Europe and in India… of course one must have complete trust in Allah!

I would advice you if you have sister or a girl in your life don’t make her feel she needs you by her side always, make her strong by heart so that when you’re not around her she doesn’t panic… I m talking practical if you love you sister then do this LIFE IS UNCERTAIN… she needs to be self-sufficient… today your with her, protecting her but if tomorrow morning, if you have to leave Pakistan for work or other reason your sister wont have your protection so make her strong… first she should believe in Allah, 2nd herself n then you… what I m telling is not easy in Pakistani culture but It worked in India culture which has similarities, in some part of India this situation in worst then what your saying. I would say woman are responsible and as brothers we must help our sisters to be independent so that the worst soul don’t touch them when we are with them or when we aren’t with them!

I got something from Rumi’s writing…!

In the part of the city we were in there was an extremely beautiful woman whose beauty was without equal in the entire city. I heard her say, ‘O God, how could You let me fall into the hands of these wicked men? I know You would never allow such a thing, and so I put my trust in You’ when the city was sacked and its inhabitants were taken prisoners, that woman’s maids were also taken into captivity, but she remained unharmed. In spite of her great beautify, no one so much as laid finger on her. The moral of this is that whoever entrusts himself to God will be free from harm, and that no one petitions God in vain….

Its sad that these things are common mostly in muslim countries. Anyways I agree with what Zubair has said in his last reply. Thats the only solution to bring change in such society.
