Delegation of the Ismaili Imamat

Post by _thaillestlunatic_ »

Can anyone share their thoughts on this HUGE major Imamat project in Canada. Like, to my understanding it represents the Imamat's permanent commitment to Canada and possibly a new Headquarters for the Imamat in the decades to come.

What do you guys think or feel about this project or even the name itself

It seems we take little interest to follow the work of our Imam, and hence the questions.
For years now, the AKDN has enjoyed diplomatic status in many countries where protocols have been signed. The Delegation of the Imamat is but another step towards formalisation of an Imam who has no state, but is accorded the status of a Head of a State. Hence the Golden Jubilee visits are State visits with full red carpet treatment.
