“Where do you stand?”
Look around you and tell me what you see. Any objects? Any people? Any animals? You probably came up with an answer which I already knew your response. The human mind is complex and has unlimited potential of what it can really do but it depends on you how well you use your senses. When I asked you the question, your answer focused on the things you saw but what about the “Big Picture”. Are you the person who thinks seeing is believing and trustworthy, if that’s so then what about your faith? I see some people today who have doubts about their faith in their religion based on what they see and most are ones who that can’t get past the materialistic stage in life. If most of the things you do don’t end up going your way, don’t turn away from your faith or start working harder to gain materialistic fortunes. Remember one thing that God doesn’t have to prove you anything but you have to prove God. When you’re looking at a painting, you go in depth to find out the meaning behind it and when you do find the meaning you will see another vision of the painting that your eyes couldn’t catch. This same concept can be applied to your faith. How much do you really know about your religion? How much have you studied your religion before you draw away from it? How much interest do you have to go in depth and find out the true meaning behind your faith? I ask you this, where do you stand?
