Legend of Squirrel

When Ram was busy building bridge towards Lanka, a small squirrel picking up pebbles in her mouth came to their help in building the bridge. Ram saw this hard labour of squirrel. He picked it up with His handsand stuck it to His chest. Storking it lightly with love, He put it on ground.
It is said that since then the white strips seen on its back are Ram's finger prints. (ref:P.K Trivedi)
