Ghat pat no Ubha ginans and Imam ni uswari and kalingo

Post by shirazkali »

Can some one explain to me the relationship between the Imam's  destruction to Kalingo in the Ghat pat No ubho Ginans? I have mostly heard in all the Ghat pat No Ubho ginans about destruction of Kalingo. What is the significance of that?

In my opinion the Ghat Paat nu Ubho Ginans emphasise ethics as we prepare to partake the Abesafa and the Sukreet which is symbolic of the virtues we need to adopt.

The fundamental ethic of our faith is to overcome our lower self (Naf se Amaara) which is the greatest Kalingo (Devil)...hence we are made aware of the fact that the greatest battle in life is to overcome it...hence it is also called the Jihad-i-Akbar....and in the Ginans we are told us that the Imam will help us in this endeavour if we follow his guidance.
