Hadith Qudsi:
On the authority of Abu Harayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Prophet (PBUH) said: Allah the Almighty said:
I am as My servant thinks I am (1). I am with him when he makes mention of Me. If he makes mention of Me to himself, I make mention of him to Myself; and if he makes mention of Me in an assembly, I make mention of him in an assemble better than it. And if he draws near to Me an arm's length, I draw near to him a fathom's length. And if he comes to Me walking, I go to him at speed.
(1) Another possible rendering of the Arabic is: "I am as My servant expects Me to be". The meaning is that forgiveness and acceptance of repentance by the Almighty is subject to His servant truly believing that He is forgiving and merciful. However, not to accompany such belief with right action would be to mock the Almighty.
It was related by al-Buhkari (also by Muslim, at-Tirmidhi and Ibn-Majah).
Hadith Qudsi and Farman quite alike.
Hadith Qudsi 35:
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said:
Our Lord (glorified and exalted be He) descends each night to the earth's sky when there remains the final third of the night, and He says: Who is saying a prayer to Me that I may answer it? Who is asking something of Me that I may give it him? Who is asking forgiveness of Me that I may forgive him?
It was related by al-Bukhari (also by Muslim, Malik, at-Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud).
In a version by Muslim the Hadith ends with the words:
And thus He continues till [the light of] dawn shines.

Hadith Qudsi
Hadith Qudsi are those conversations between Allah and Prophet Mohammad (AS) that were not included in the Quran as we now know it.
Re: Hadith Qudsi
History reveals that various Hadiths and the standard text of Quran available in books stalls, etc. are not authorised by God or by the Holy Prophet Muhammad. Then why do you say that Hadith Qudsi are those conversations between Allah and Prophet Mohammad?shamsu wrote:Hadith Qudsi are those conversations between Allah and Prophet Mohammad (AS) that were not included in the Quran as we now know it.
and what are your sources for quoting this?arzimood wrote:Hadith Qudsi are those in which the message is that of wht Allah Almighty wanted to communicate to his creatures but words were those of Hazrat Mohammad(P.B.U.H) and these Hadiths though are messages from Allah but are not included in Quran-e-Paak

Hadith Qudsi- THere are thousands of hadith written by four witnesses in the time of Prophet Mohamed. Hadith means a story or explanation. When Prophet received revelation he gave them in the exact words they were revealed to Him from Allah. The he explained to the ummah- asaahabo- companions- the meaning or the message in simpple terms by quoting similies or examples. Hazarat Ali was one of the witnesses who wrote down everything that was said. Over a period of time various sects changed the text to accomodate their needs , for political reasons or other reasons. Hadise qudsee is the one that can be authicated ? Who can do it today other than the Hazar Imam. But There are many scripts where such authenticated hadith have been quoted, especially by Ismaili wtriters such as Hakim Nassir Khushrow, Kadhi Nauman etc.
