Firmans

Post by Faria »

A question, why is it that often the same firmans are recited in JK. Once in a while I hear Firman, and I think wow I've never heard that before. Or in Waez's I hear references to different Firmans.

Listening to it

Post by shamsu »

YAM Faria,

The secret to listening to Farmans is to do it in a manner as though you have never heard it before. Being focused on staying in the moment with no recollection of the past or any thought of the future, focussed absolutely in the present, I believe you will find new meanings directly applicable to you every single time.

another way is to understand that Imam is talking directly to you and nothing else exists.

I have heard certain Farmans hundreds if not thousand times and learned something or the other whenever he wants me to.
You see, not having any expectation is also a part of the stratergy in listening to Farmans.

Can a baby ever get tired of listening to the mothers voice singing lullabies.

Yes I agree that one can never tire of hearing Mowla's Firmans. Its amazing how sometimes I will be facing an issue and the Firman read in JK will directly address that. My point actually was on the fact that Firmans have been made to cover all aspects of our life, to guide us, and so many of those Firmans are never read in JK. I hear about such Firmans in waez's or infact on this forum, which is great, but I would so love to hear the whole Firmans.
