ejee ek aavashe rahemaan baavaa, sat pahoro jaagashe;
sarave janane teddaavee, treebhovar saamee lekhaa maa(n)gashe7
There will come a respected person from the Merciful, he will remain awake in the true quarter of the night. Calling all individuals, the Lord of the three worlds will take account of all deeds.
Can any one explain who rahemaan baavaa is in this verse? The translation just says a respected person from the Merciful.
Thank you.
Who is " rahemaan baavaa"?
Rahemaan Baavaa
This is a verse from the Ginan: "Feerat ne jaa tambal vaajashe".
In my opinion 'rahemaan baavaa' is non other than the 'Kayam Swami' the Lord of Resurrection. The 'sat pahor' means the dawn in the night of darkness of sin and ignorance. After the dawn, there is the full daylight of enlightenment which is the theme of the Ginan. 'Taking account of all deeds' means purifying or preparing the souls for the daylight of spiritual enlightenment.
In the Ginan 'Noor Vela Noor Piyo" it is stated 'hee jug pacchali raheni" meaning this period under the recognition of the Imam (Kayam Swami) is the dawn after which there is enlightenment.
