This March, a three-day event in Jodhpur will see international names like Jemima Khan and Sting in attendance. Organised by Maharaja Gaj Singh II, the meet is an effort to gather support and bring focus on the increasing rise of head injuries in India.
The Maharaja's son, Shivraj Singh, had fallen from a horse in 2005 during a polo match and suffered life-altering head injuries. The Maharaja then created the Indian Head Injuries Foundation, which is behind this three-day retreat.
The event titled A Beautiful Mind is planned from March 8-10 and will have more than 200 guests from around the world. Among others, Sting is going to perform on the last day, and it's the singer who has invited Jemima and Oscar-winning actor Forest Whitaker as his personal guests.
The fest will have cultural as well as spiritual events. Among the other headliners, we hear that Prince Andrew Duke of York, Sir Bob Geldof, Prince Hussain Aga Khan, Mukesh Ambani, Sunil Mittal, Anand Mahindra, KP Singh, Naresh Trehan, Deepak Parekh and Gautam Singhania will be present.
