Muslims and NonMuslims

Post by star_munir »

Many muslims believe that every Non Muslim will go to hell and will be severly punished by Allah be it a good or bad person. We however do not believe so so how to tell them that their this thinking is wrong?

Purpose

Post by shamsu »

YAM Munir,

What would be the purpose of telling them that?

How will telling them this benefit anyone (in deen or duniya)?

Sometimes, people feel secure in believing that others are wrong, their presumption is that since others are wrong we are undoubtedly right. This becomes the foundation of their conviction. If you attack that foundation they will immediately shut off their ability to reason and get into unreasonable arguements with you, attacking your faith in retaliation.

I say let it go, its not worth it.

but since you started the topic

One of the names of Allah is Al-Haq which means The Truth. If there is a non-muslim who has never lied in his entire life, would you say he is Imandaar? and would you say that his Iman is upon The Truth. So His Iman is on Allah. He believes in the truth that is He believes in Allah.

When we say Ashaduan La Illaha Il Allah we stand witness that there is no Allah but Allah.
Has this persons life been a living witness to upholding The Truth. Would you not say that he has lived the Kalima without saying it.

Just one approach in hitting your head against the brick wall (in trying to talk to others that they are not superspecial)
