Tasbhi - Its Significance

Post by kmaherali »

Although a tasbhi's essential role is to count the number of recitations in a most convinient way, in my opinion there is an 'aura' of sacredness surrounding it by the fact that it is used in connection with the recitation of the most exalted words. MHI has told us to take a tasbhi and say your prayers wherever you are. I have been told that he himself carries it in his jacket.

Try out a simple experiment. Try stamping upon a tasbhi. Will you be able to do it readily? Something inside will prevent you from doing it.

Aura is a kind of a field surrounding an object which conveys a sense of its unique function or character. For example if you meet an important person, you will feel something special about the person because there ia a unique aura surrounding him. MHI during his Zaheri deedar emanates (gives out) that special aura and sensitive murids are able to perceive it. Sacred objects also emanate that kind of aura and if you are sensitive, you will feel it. I hope it helps...

Negative Aura

The aura can also be negative. When you are in presence of an evil person, you can sense the negative vibrations or aura surrounding the person.
