Post by haroon_adel »

Ya Ali Madad,

Can someone please explain what's the significance of Amber (The stuff that smells good) in Jama'at Khana?

Sorry for wording, if it's not correct. I hope it's clear.

Thanks and YAM.

Are you refering ambar (Ambergris) a good smell thing which always found bank of seas and it is whale' excretion or "LOBAN"?(ALOE, ALSO CALL BENZOIN) please clarify these.
Ambar and loban words used in our ginanic literature many times both have many significance, Ambar is hard to find and expensive while loban tree grow in Turkey, Africa, Java, Sumatra, the liquid gathered from tree become loban while excretion found from whale call ambar.
Please read the link provided and you will find more detail about the Agarbati, Ambar and Loban and its significance.
