stage of baqabillah

yaa ali Madad, i know the meaning of fanafillah. but just came across the the term "baqabillah" if anyone can share some knowledge on this concept.

Baqabillah is a stage of permanence in Allah, permanence by Allah. The concept of Fanafillah and Baqabillah are very close and very popular in sufisam sect.

thanks for your reply, but i thaught fanafillah is the highest. "asal makan" and once a soul acheives that stage, there is nothing left but oneness. and when you say "baqabillah" is close to "fannahfillah" then, in what way? if you could please explain more. thanks.

Fana is a temporary or momentary experience of oneness. Baqa on the other hand is more permanent. The experience of fana is integrated into daily experience and remains a permanent state of being in God even during the mundane worldly experience.

the purified soul achieves baqabillah [eternal love of allah] throught fana fillah [absorption in god], since god is invisible , it is through love alone that a soul can become one with god


2:165 (Y. Ali) Yet there are men who take (for worship) others besides Allah, as equal (with Allah.: They love them as they should love Allah.
