After having been to Nairobi, Toronto and Calgary I can see that there seems to be a lot lacking in London with regards to Ismaili Social Activities. In Nairobi there is the Aga Khan Schools, Sport Grounds, etc and Ismaili have a place to call their own to put on social events. In Canada there are large numbers of Ismaili's and after JK many do even simple thingslike going fo a meal at Nando's afterwards. But from my observations .. here in the UK there's very little social contact for most Ismaili's.

Even the people that work in London for Ismaili organisations don't socialise together much and I think that is a shame. I'd certainly like to help organise something in Central London or other parts of London on a regular basis. I already help organise events for other activities such as Valentine's and Business meetup's in London and I'd like to do something to help bring Ismaili's in London together... espacially for those young people in their 20's and 30's also looking to meet people for possible marriage.
If you'd be interested in coming to a London Ismaili social event or helping me organise one then let me know.
