Fountain of Kauthar.
Fontain or well of Kauthar contains the Holy Water or Amiras which is refreshing and blissful and yields ultimate and eternal peace and joy.
Imam Sultan Muhammad made the following farman in Bombay on April 14, 1893.
"On the Day of Judgement, Murtaza Ali will intercede on your behalf and will hold your hand and escort you to Paradise. There to the true momins he will offer the Holy Water from the Well of Kauther - Insha allah."

Paradise! which is everything at the beginning, which mean highest reward for our obedience, sincerity, etc, which shows weight of our deeds (good or bad), for many its final stage of journey…
Which means everything becomes meaningless in practical life!
They are many interpretations about Janath. They are hints in hadiths that it’s nothing, it’s not the reward a mumin looks for, it’s not the final stage, it doesn’t weight our deeds and Janath is not at all motivating!
Then what is Janath according to Ismailism?
Ab-e-Kauthar is same in Kauthar mention in Surah (108) Kawsar?
If we not breaking any admins rule can u explain me ISMS farman?

I do not think there can be one level of meaning in Ismailism. There can be many interpretations based on the individual historical and cultural backgrounds.
I like the following interpretation and meditation of the Quranic Ayats 47:14-15 given by Lex Hixon in his "Heart of the Koran".
"Those immersed in authentic awe of Allah Most Sublime live on the level of Paradise, the fragrant gardens of pure consciousness where four rivers eternally flow. Divine Clarity is the river of transparent water, free from the slightest impurity, that refreshes the soul and slakes its thirst. Divine Knowledge is the river of sweet milk that nourishes the soul perfectly and never turns sour. Divine Bliss is the river of delicate wine that inebriates the soul who ascends in ecstasy. Divine Love is the river of clarified honey, the golden essence of mystical union. On the level of awareness called Paradise grow incomparable fruits, the countless Attributes of Allah Most High. There the soul is cleansed completely by the Divine Forgiveness that flows from the Source of Love. But on the level of awareness called Hell, the intense Splendor of Allah is falsely perceived as unbearable fire, and souls experience the terrors that they dream through their own chronic state of negation as boiling water which scalds their very being as they try to drink. My beloved, how can these two levels be compared?"
Also paradise is comprised of the 'seven heavens' that were alluded to in another question today by samiraziz. Please refer to the answer to the question for further understanding. The gist of it is that one can experience paradise in this life and need not wait for the hereafter.

Both the level of awareness called paradise and hell have become meaningless for me! I don’t know whether my feeling is common in Ismaili brothers and sisters! I am writing you this if u can comment on it…. It’s totally based on my personal experience! Karim you are the one who is answering to all questions if u can add something to my quest It will be kind…. I knock both doors of faith (zahir and batine) with same intensity…. What I m writing is totally personal experience but I want to know what’s generally believe in our community as I live in this society and want to be a active member of Jamat so I need to be general then personal…
In last two years each day was a lesson and one of the most important lesson I have learned is “I am not alone or never alone”…. This verse has created difference in my life “I Prostrate before Thee and I rely upon Thee; from thee is my strength and thou art my protection, o lord of the worlds” the word Strength and Protection are important and needs concentration to what I am saying…. (On the bases of Sunni Interpretation of Quran and Hadiths) I believed Paradise exists; it’s a physically spiritual World Which is given to a Muslim on Judgement day for his sincere towards Allah for the one who had down good Deeds, it’s a reward, it’s a success and final level of the Paradise was Dedaar of Allah on each Thursday nights But my practical life has changed my believe………..
Last year a customer of mine was discussing religion with his new girl friend involved me in his conversation saying what does Christianity offers “Paradise after death if u follow God sincerely” It was rush hours I was busy I replied “Religion not only offers Paradise after death but also it offers paradise before death”… after work I gave a thought on my words, It was slip of tongue or something else… I asked myself, why did I say that to him? Where did I read it? It’s in hadiths or did my mom told me these words? Well whatever it was it made sense to me now….
Two days later I was watching a TV program in which 4 Islamic scholars (2 Sunni and 2 Shia/ Twelvers) are invited to discuss Islamic Concepts based both Interpretation (Sunni and Shia) in a friendly environment in an acceptable manner. An online caller asked this Question “What are the Questions which death angle will ask after once death? Each of them gave explained according to there interpretation of Quran and Hadiths with reference….. That night I didn’t sleep think what will happen if I die now. Next day I discussed this question with my friend some tried to help me and other tried to tell me its not important, I felt its important to know because when I was following Sunni interpretation I had clear idea of what life is and what will happened after death but when my interpretation of Faith changed I needed to know everything…. scholars of both interpretation didt make sense to me as a Muslim but not as an ismaili because I don’t follow there Interpretation…. I had no Ismaili around me to explain; I tried to contact many ismailies but couldn’t create a base for discussion! I spend sleepless night felling I m in hell… I tried to talk to people but it didn’t work…. Then I called Allah for help who was primarily responsible for my situation, for my uncertain life… then I open all books I had to know answers to my questions after reading them and cross checking with my personal experience I got a surprising answer, my words made sense to me and Janath/Dozaq became meaningless! Recognition of Imam/Allah meant everything!
Why? Generally we believe we get Paradise on the bases of our good deeds, meaning we have succeeded, meaning we are winners… People in Prophet Muhammad time donated whatever they earned during day time before going to sleep without worrying about tomorrow believing Allah will also give them (work, food, etc) again tomorrow, If I find a single person with such a level of believe in Allah I would say he is successful…. To measure success in physical world today I think a man is successful if he goes to bed and sleep without any stress not because he is tied but because he leaving His problems on Allah…. if we all reaches to this level of faith by following Allah then they won’t be any problem at all (Death’s cause of heart attack, stress, workload, any phobias, etc) because you believe Allah is there to look after problems.
The versa mention above and my experience with my life changed my believe… sometime ago I posted my visit to Aiglemont during the visit I asked a cab driver to take me to Aiglemont estates he said if u have appointment I can take you inside or else I can’t take u in… I told him take me till Aiglemont I don’t have an appointment.. He said it’s a big gate you will not see anything… I said ok take me till that gate… he said to other driver what’s in that gate everyone ask us to leave their (On that day I had answer to my question in that gate, today it’s a paradise for me… I can’t explain cab driver this and even if I explanation to him he wouldn’t understand me) next day morning I read a Farman of ISMS in which he says “if you were to be with me physically day and night, and yet had no faith in me, you would be away from me”
In spite of my busy schedule on 4th of June 2007 I travelled to Paris (to Chantilly race club) hoping to meet Hazar Imam, for this particular day I was waiting from last 8 months each day calculating how many days more r left… He was not present in race club my friends kept calling me because Hazar Imam gave a interview on 3rd June afternoon at race Club and it was in news paper with details of his Successful Imamate stories…. I was waiting and hoping Hazar Imam will come anytime as Aiglemont is just walk able distance from race club… I was beautiful race club I was alone waiting for Hazar Imam but he didn’t come…. There was a vacuum between my heart and brain… I was sad or happy I didn’t knew… at the end of the day I was asking Hazar Imam, if u weren’t coming to Race Club then why did u made me wait since last 8 moths for this day I was busy I don’t take off from last 5 weeks and today I took off to travel to Paris to have your dedaar then why didn’t u come… ( I believe he is with me all the time that’s y I m asking him Question here)… with this vacuum between my heart and brain I came back to home… after dinner I did Dua… when I was on bed I sleep without thinking anything but doing Tasbi (Ya Ali)….
In spite of a disappointing day I was happy…. I was able to sleep… I felt top of the world!!!!!! I was thinking this world is only made for me…. I felt Allah is telling Angles why did He made this world…. Just to show that believers believe me without see me, believers believe in Batine than Zahir, believing everything is in control…. I didn’t meet him but zubair isn’t complaining… I felt proud of myself when I slept without any complains even after not meeting Hazar Imam, it was same zubair who always had complains and spend most of his nights crying if something like this happened. It raised a question is JanatH important?
I felt Recognition of true path or Imam is important then Janath or dozaq…. What will I do if I get spiritual physical paradise if I don’t recognise it? It’s like the cab driver going to Aiglemont without knowing what is in there! Its like many people meeting Mowla daily who doesn’t realise or recognise Him? Even if I get Physically Janath will it give me so much satisfaction? So I feel Janath is not important but recognition of Janath is Important.
Still I don’t have answer to my Question what will I answer to death angle but Today I don’t fear of death because when I say this verse three times a day I don’t just say it but I believe it “I Prostrate before Thee and I rely upon Thee; from thee is my strength and thou art my protection, o lord of the worlds” … so this protection is important then anything else! I believe I have divine shield which protect me physically and spiritually 24hrs, 365days and which will protect me after death…. If someone has to hurt me it must be by Allah will as he has to break this divine shield, if its important then Allah will allow it to hurt me if not Allah doesn’t let it to come near me…. today I feel secure in darkness nights as I feel secure in daylight….. I believe no one can hurt me Physically or Spiritually except Allah and no one make me Happy or Sad except Allah…..
As ISMS says “On the Day of Judgment, Murtaza Ali will intercede on your behalf and will hold your hand and escort you to Paradise. There to the true momins he will offer the Holy Water from the well of Kauther- inshallah” well I have got idea of this water but its spiritual experience which I cant discuss online but I am sure, I believe Ali is holding my hand stronger then I m holding him and Ali will not leave me even if I want…
Our Dua has verses which are not only help us in this world but also help us after this world that’s why I asked you who gave us this Dua because each verse is powerful and when I think it goes beyond my limit to understand there meanings….
Is Bahadur Ali a person or a group of individuals….? Are there difference Missionaries having special functions….?star_munir wrote:I had heard once a waez of Bahadur Ali missionary as per him kauthar = Aab-e-Shafa. He had also quoted a verse from Ginan to explain the concept which I not remember.
Thanks
