MUKHIYANI MAA & MUKHIYANI SAHEBA
According to our constitution, Mukhiani maa is the wife of Mukhi saheb.
Mukhiani saheba's husband is not a Mukhi, instead she functions as a Mukhi of the Jamat.
In some smaller jamats, sometimes positions are given to women as Mukhi, in which case she is called Mukhi saheba.
Similarly kamadiani is the wife of Kamadia Saheb. If a woman is appointed to function as Kamadia (in which case her husband is not kamadia) then she is Kamadia Saheba.
