Answer for Samirziz Q
Hi Samirziz,
YAA ALI MADAD.
Sijda is symbol of SUBMISSION to GOD.
Regarding prostating upon the words
"sajad wajahe eelak watawakal tu aalayak"
It means "I do Sujda infront(before) you and i have faith (trust) only in you".So certain people considering the meaining of the words might be prostating.
We are actually supposed to prostrate when "alahum lak sujude wataee" is said.It shows that we have considered ourself at the lowest level in the holy DARBAR (JamatKhana) of Mowlana Hazar Imam. Also it is symbol of total submission.
To add to these things...
You must have noticed people moving their right hand over their face while reciting the above words (or while reciting KALMA )<BR>In this act we apply the dust of the ground on our face(showing humbleness)and symbollically indicate that we are feeble in front of GOD.
Regards,
Irfan
