meeting with Hazar Imam

Post by dchandani »

On 5/15/2006 my famiy had the oppertunity to meet with Hazar Imam at columbia University graduation .Hazar Imam was the guest speaker. After the ceremonies were finished Hazar Imam came down the stage accompanied by the Dean and stood v. close to my family.
the leader who accompanies Hazar Imami indicated to my daughter and me that we should not approach Imam although it appeared to us that mowla was waiting for us . so we just stood tight . After about 7 to10 minutes Mowla himself v. quickly proceeded towards us and extended both his hands and congratlulated extemely warmly and happily by shaking my daughter's both hands and said congraulations ,well done congratulations and said 'MUBARAK MUBARAK to me and my husband. he then paused for photo with us and had a brief talk with me and we got to walk with him till the door of the hall .sukhar alhamdallah.
when we retuned and shared our experience with every one.,most of the people we talked to said it is your ancestors khidmat that gave you this oppertunity, some said it was mre coincidence and some said it was my baitul khayal khidmat that was resposible. any views on ancestor theory?

The ancestor theory seems plausible (although it is not necessarily the only reason for your good fortune). Often the greatest source of happiness for a parent is the happiness of his or her children. Perhaps your parents or grandparents wished for the benefit of some service they did to be given to their children or children's children. Perhaps that benefit was granted to you that day.

YAM,

One of the Prophets authentic hadiths (sayings) says:
"if you provide a needy pupil with a pencil to write with, Allah will bless you with a reward as big as seventy pilgrimages can afford." For me the best Reward is Faith and Dedaar e Imam of the time. I would first congratulate u for performing Hajj. For Ismailies Hajj is performed by seeking the Dedaar of Imam of time or by going to Jamatkhana as Noor of Mowla Ali is always present in JK. Every Hajj is a great experience and indefinable.

I believe in ancestor theory as well as I also believe it’s not the only reason for Allah Fazal as Allah is Wahhaab He is who donates all blessing to His Creatures. According to a Prophets authentic hadiths “parents Good deeds come to their children as blessings” In another hadiths Prophet says “if a person died as sinful and wakes up on Judgement Day as sinless, his purification is due to his children good deedsh” this shows that we get blessings for our parents good deeds as well our parent get blessings our good deeds.

On 29 may 2005 my only Ismaili friend had meet Hazar Imam at Hippodrome D’Auteuil (Race club in Paris) due to that I had his Holy Dedaar on 31 may 2005. At the beginning I thought I had Holy Dedaar due to my Mother’s Good Deeds and my Friend’s Sincerity but now I think both my mom and my friend are Allah’s blessing to me, Now I say that I had his Dedaar as MHI wanted, anyone can’t reach him without his will.

We recognise MHI and follow his path (siratul mustaqem), it’s the biggest reward on earth as I have meet some people born in Ismaili families or married to Ismailies, who don’t recognise MHI or have left our path.
We all know giver of Faith is Allah and taker of Faith is Allah. May Allah Give us All The True Faith and let us hold the rope of Faith till our last breath and after… (Amine)
